The short version

Your files never leave your device. All conversions happen locally in your browser — we never see, receive, or store any file you process on this site. The only data we collect is standard analytics about how the site is used.

File processing

Every tool on zeroupload.app runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you drop a file, it is read and processed locally on your device. No file data is transmitted to our servers or any third party. We have no technical ability to access your files.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which tools are most popular and where traffic comes from. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address (anonymized), browser type, device type, pages visited, and general geographic location.

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish users and sessions. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We do not use analytics data to identify you personally, and we do not sell it to anyone.

Cookies

We do not set any cookies ourselves. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (such as _ga and _gid) to track sessions. These are standard analytics cookies and do not contain any personally identifiable information from our end.

Third-party libraries

Some tools load open-source JavaScript libraries from CDN providers (unpkg.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net) to perform conversions in your browser. When your browser fetches these scripts, those CDN providers may log your IP address per their own privacy policies. No file data is involved in these requests — they are standard script downloads.

Data retention

We retain Google Analytics data for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. We do not retain any other personal data because we do not collect any.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
